1 ¼ ounce light or dark rum
½ cup frozen strawberries, defrosted
3 tablespoons simple syrup
Lime wedges
Sugar for sugar rim
Pour rum, strawberries, and simple syrup into either a bar shaker or large non - glass cup. Muddle ingredients together (mash). In a clean cup, rub lime wedge around rim and dip rim into sugar. Fill glass ¾ way up with crushed ice. Lightly strain rum mixture over ice, you want some strawberry chunks. Add a straw and enjoy!
